You may ask yourself why I wrote a book about back pain. The answer is simple: I’ve had countless conversations over the years with people suffering from it—new pain, old pain, sharp or dull—each person looking for guidance, clarity, and relief.
Much of what I’ll cover in this book is available online, but it’s often buried beneath misinformation, marketing, and paywalls. There are already plenty of books on back pain, so why another? Because many of those books are too dense, too narrow, or too technical. My goal is to combine and simplify the full picture—so I might help people who haven’t yet found the answers they need.
This book won’t promise to solve your back pain. That may not be possible. But it will give you a deeper, more accessible understanding of your spine, what drives your pain, and what treatment options actually exist. It’s short by design—your time matters. Not all problems are fixable, and there is no one-size-fits-all. But for most people living with back pain, there are ways to find relief—if someone simply takes the time to explain them.
