Test Strip Calibration Needed: A calibration for the test strips is needed before the first test from a new bottle of test strips with new code number. Insert the code chip on the top and a corresponding test strip (with same code number) to the monitor. When the code on the screen matches the number on the chip and the strip container, the calibration is complete. Repeat the steps for another code chip and test strip. Each bottle of test strips needs only once of this decoding step.
Measurement Unit:Our Medilax blood glucose and ketone meter currently only uses the more commonly foundunit, mmol/l. However, there is a conversion formula between mmol/l and mg/dlfor all devices: mg/dl=18×mmol/l”
